This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hi, everyone! I have 25 first grade students this school year who are full of energy and, most importantly, eager to learn. They love to read and learn many subjects. They enjoy their classroom because it is full of fun activities and comfortable.
Students learn multiple subjects throughout the day including physical education indoors and outdoors.
They love reading and doing science experiments. They are very eager to learn every day and are learning to be the best that they can be. They love their classroom and want to learn something new every single day!
My Project
As a first grade journal Ed teacher my passion is to teach students not only all subject matter curriculum but to also be kind and caring. Currently I’m also teaching tutoring after school. Most of my students that attend tutoring stay until 6 in the evening and arrive at school at 7:30. I encourage my students to come to school everyday and most of my students need snacks to maintain energy throughout the day. I also included crayons and pencils for tutoring since they will be using them throughout the school year. I signed up to teach tutoring because there is so much learning that takes place in a school year.
