My students need paper and pencils to complete daily math skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Nance's classroom raised $170

My Students
My students attend school in an inner city Title I School District. Our school has had funds reduced every year. This has taken a huge toll on everyone. I have purchased almost all the supplies my students will need this year. However, I am unable to afford everything on my own.
I am in desparate need of basic supplies.
My class uses white boards and Expo markers everyday for math enrichment. The markers seem to go out just as fast as they come in.
There also isn't a math curriculum that is given to me, so I have to copy all my own lessons, each day, for each student. This requires a lot of paper, and a lot of pencils! Again, these supplies to go so fast- it's almost like the students are eating them!
My Project
My students use Expo markers everyday to help them learn their basic math skills. Using the Whiteboards and markers allows my students a fun way to do their math, while having fun. We start our math lesson with a review problem for students to solve within their group. Then we move on to the new lesson for the day.
The new lesson is done on paper, which I have to supply.
Again, the paper goes very fast with 30 students. Having the problems done on paper allows me to check each student's work and help them at a later time during small group. Of course, when there's paper being used, there's pencils close by! These basic supplies are essentail to my students learning math skills.
