My Students

The students at our school are diligent, dedicated, and determined students that are always up for a challenge. Our mission for our students, are to be hard-working, trustworthy students, in which they demonstrate on a daily basis. Our mission also helps the students realize their full potential. We are a charter school starting our third year, with limited funding and depend highly on our community for help. Our students are very excited and determined to take on new learning challenges everyday!

My Project

In my classroom, we print and laminate quite frequently! A lot of my students are visual learners and enjoy seeing their work come to life. We like to make things POP by using color printing paper, but how exciting would it be to print in actual COLOR!? This project would help bring my student's assignments to life, by printing in color!

When working in our reading/daily five groups and explaining how to write a 5 paragraph essay, they can type their essay using the color coding technique they've been taught, rather than writing in multiple colors.

Not only would it be easier to see, but it will also help enhance their typing skills! Having a color printer will help BRIGHTEN up my students' mind and make them eager to learn!
