My classroom is a room full of eager learners. My students thrive with hands-on, engaging learning activities. Creating an active learning community allows my super helpers to support each other and their teacher in reaching goals by discovering joy in learning every day.
Students in my classroom are engaged and active participants in their own learning.
Learning through exploration and peer discussions creates the environment for my students to foster their relationship and communication skills while growing their brains and working as a community toward our learning goals.
The different play-based learning tools on this wishlist will allow my students to continue to have better opportunities to explore the targets we are focused on in a fun and engaging way. Learning through play is a great way to foster my students' social-emotional skills and create opportunities for our classroom family to grow together. Letter tiles will help my students make connections and build their alphabet awareness. Sight words are a huge part of communication and reading. When learning to read, familiarity with these sight words will set my learners up for success. Sight word games build this vocabulary base in a fun and developmentally appropriate way. Interactive math manipulatives such as the ten frames and the paddles will turn math learning into a fun and interactive game, helping to build our classroom community as well as my students´ number sense.
