My Project

I am a high school special education department chair in Tucson, AZ reaching out to support my teachers and their students! This project could support almost 200 students at my school who have a disability and need these supports to help them function and be successful. We have students with Autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, emotional and behavioral disabilities, and learning disabilities. Amongst these students, some also have physical impairments and sensory deficits. Students can utilize sensory items to help them calm down or remain calm in difficult situations, stay focused and on-task, and interact appropriately with others. Please help prepare high school students for postsecondary life!
