The virtual IMSE Morphology Plus 30-hour course is a hands-on, interactive class that provides a complete understanding of morphology, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension and how to apply it in the classroom.
After participating in IMSE's Orton-Gillingham and Phonological Awareness courses, I am looking to enhance my instructional toolbox even more in order to provide research based instruction in the areas of comprehension and vocabulary.
As a general education teacher, this training is an important component for my teaching and practice. I have had the ability to take the Orton-Gillingham training IMSE offers for direct teaching in decoding and encoding components of reading. The morphology training will enhance my previous training to provide an even more comprehensive comprehension and vocabulary instruction.
I believe that IMSE's course will be an invaluable addition to my current teaching practices. I am eager to see growth in all of my students' ability to understand the words they are reading and begin to build comprehension skills needed to demonstrate reading success.
