This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a passionate National Board Certified Education Specialist working in a high school setting. Our school is a Title I school serving a diverse population. The students I work with are determined and strive to persevere through social, emotional, and academic challenges. My Community-Based Instruction (CBI) class has worked on the yearbook staff, attended school activities, volunteered in the community, and served on the (ASB) Associated Student Body. They excel with movement and hands-on experiences. I am blessed to be their teacher and strive to encourage students beyond their greatest expectations.

As the year comes to an end, it's time to begin preparing for the 2025/26 school year.

IMSE LAB is an intuitive online platform that simplifies structured literacy instruction. Whether I am teaching OG+ or Morphology+, this powerful tool will support my students with unique needs with ready-to-use and customizable lessons, aligned materials, and assessments for both core and intervention.

From planning and teaching to tracking student progress, IMSE LAB will help my students feel represented in their inclusion class, by providing them with the necessary material they need to thrive. These supplies will be implement with fidelity and flexibility across classrooms. Now...let's represent!
