My Project
This project includes a variety of books to help improve mental health and a standing desk to help me interact with students quicker as we work on activities and projects in the books.
There are books here that are designed to: help high school students process feelings to help improve their sense of well-being like "50 Social Emotional Learning Lessons Vol.
1: Grades 6-12" by David Paris; allow high schoolers to engage with students that are younger by teaching a lesson using the book "I Feel...Meh: Overcoming Boredom and Apathy for Kids" by DJ Corchin; and allow high schoolers to lead a field day called "Social Emotional Field Day" by David Paris. Other books include books about art and also forensic science that is of high interest to students and will help keep mental health in a positive place as students explore different forensic activities.
