My Students

My students work incredibly hard to master skills. They are willing to try new things and ask many questions. Their ability to think through different issues and discuss deeper topics inspires me every day.

I know that the right materials will help my students continue to learn, grow and excel in skills that will help them in and out of the classroom.

I want to be able to help my students develop critical thinking skills in the safe environment of my classroom. There's nothing I love more than assisting my students as they work through different skills and come out victorious.

My Project

Small group teaching and learning is an important part of any classroom experience. The wobble seats are to help students spend less time arranging chairs in compact spaces and more time on instruction and learning. Chairs in compact spaces, like a small group table, often get tangled up as students come and go from the table. Wobble chairs take up less space in the same compact area, allowing students to come and go more efficiently, leaving more time for learning.

Your donation will help students focus on important learning experiences.

With the wiggle stools, students who find it challenging to sit in a chair during the day will be enabled to participate with their classmates and stay more focused on their learning experiences.

The plastic money manipulatives will enable students to have a hands on experience with math topics such as decimals, place values and fractions. These are all skills students learn in 5th grade and use throughout their lives. Having concrete tools for students to interact with will enable students to build a strong foundation for skills they will use in 5th grade and throughout the rest of their lives.
