My Project

Research shows that smaller class sizes and lower student-teacher ratios improve student outcomes. In urban settings, where populations are growing, this is increasingly difficult.

To decrease the student-teacher ratio, my co-teacher and I split the class in half.

One teacher stays in the classroom, providing instruction to half the class, and the other teacher provides instruction in the hallway. Doing this creates a secondary problem. The students in the hallway do not have access to high-quality technology-based resources and instruction.

A LG Standbyme Touchscreen TV is portable and would provide high-quality technology, allowing my co-teacher and I to provide the highest quality instruction.
