This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting funding for two iPads to support learning in my classroom. These iPads will serve as versatile tools to meet several critical needs. First, they will provide essential support for our English language learners (ELLs) through access to translation apps, visual learning tools, and language development programs that help bridge communication gaps and promote equitable learning opportunities.

Additionally, the iPads will act as reliable backups when student laptops malfunction or are unavailable, ensuring that no student misses out on instructional technology or digital assignments due to technical issues.

They will also be used as part of our classroom management system, serving as an incentive for positive behavior by allowing students to engage in educational apps and activities as a reward.

Finally, the iPads will be integrated into a variety of technology-enhanced learning experiences, including interactive lessons, multimedia projects, and hands-on exploration of academic content. This will increase student engagement, creativity, and access to personalized learning tools that meet their diverse needs. These devices will make a meaningful and lasting impact on our classroom environment and students’ academic success.
