My students need a laminating machine in order to preserve their hard work so other students can benefit from their experience. By laminating modeling work and resources for their class my students will benefit academically.

My Students
My students come from different backgrounds. However most of them are from low income families. We are a public school that takes in students through a lottery system and we end up with a mix of social and economic students.
They work hard to succeed however like most teenagers they need to be encouraged and motivated.
They try to bring as many supplies as they can still sometimes it is not enough to meet their needs. My students are like the typical teenagers self conscious and afraid to to participate so this will give them an opportunity to show that they can work.
My Project
These materials will help us create activities that will promote literacy in the classroom and allow students to relay on previous work. These new educational materials will give them opportunities to better retain and preserve their work.
In our school our students do presentation to their parents about their academic standing, laminating their work will allow them to show their work in a profesional setting.
A laminating machine is necessary so that resources can be reused for years to come and preserve them safely. . A laminating machine is also an essential tool for teachers. It allows the teachers to create and preserve class posters, which can be important instructional tools. It will also help us save student work.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
