This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By providing these titles in Spanish, my students will have the chance to curl up at home with a book in their native language. They will be able to take what they learn in class and continue at home. Their families who are new to our country, will be given the chance to enjoy and share their child’s love of reading because they will be in their language. Finally by providing these resources, my students will feel as if they fit in with the other students , since their language is non English.
