This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is their insatiable curiosity and eagerness to learn. Each resource we request, particularly the Oculus virtual reality technology, will revolutionize their learning experience by providing immersive historical contexts that textbooks and traditional teaching methods cannot replicate. Our goal for this project is to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation for history by transporting students to significant moments and locations, allowing them to see, hear, and interact with historical events firsthand.

What makes our students special is their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives, which enrich our classroom discussions and foster a dynamic learning environment.

With access to virtual reality experiences, they will be able to explore different cultures, time periods, and viewpoints, fostering empathy, critical thinking, and a deeper connection to the past.
