My Project
Being a Reading Interventionist allows me the opportunity to work with a variety of learners including ELL students. On top of the anxiety of changes in learning that we have faced over the past few years with COVID, these students face added frustrations with a language that is unfamiliar. By being able to provide intensive face-to-face instruction to close gaps, my goal is to provide a learning space where my ELL students can feel comfortable asking questions, learning decoding skills, building vocabulary all through the use of interactive English learning games to help close the gaps of learning in reading.
