This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Keeping books into the hands of my Title 1 scholars that they can enjoy together is a top priority in my classroom. The novel “One Crazy Summer” is an incredible book that students are able to identify with within the first few chapters.
As the past is imperative to learn from, my Title 1 disadvantaged scholars are able to identify with the main character and her little sisters of this incredible piece of realistic fiction that contains teachable moments about history. The adventure this family of sisters travels is a meaningful tale.
