My Project

Over my seven-year teaching journey, I’ve learned more and more about what it means to develop my students in preparation for their futures. There are a myriad of ways that takes place! One of the most practical is ensuring they are well-versed and competent for the digital age they now live in and will continue living in after leaving my classroom. Students who are digitally savvy are on a clear path to being successful in the future.

As such, my classroom has grown to have a heavy reliance on technology.

This comes about in ways you may expect, with activities like accessing primary sources and articles discussing the ways our country has and continues to evolve. One really easy way to make my classroom come alive is to use films and videos to drive points home more. As kids these days watch videos more to consume learning in their personal time, it's important to adjust our classrooms in response.

Sound goes a really, really long way to drive those videos home. I've relied on OK Sound over my teaching career, but giving it a true audio boost would take things up a notch. I'd love to get better sound in my classroom with these speakers!
