Imagine! Writing About Places That They Have Never Seen Before.

Help me give my students the oculus-quest 2. Because of the pandemic, we have not been able to go on any field trips. My students can have that experience and write about what they saw.

FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Estrada's classroom raised $524

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are awesome!!!

They are fun, kind, and love to learn new things!

. Most of my students are in the Autistic spectrum. But you would never know it. Their beautiful personalities covers that right up. They love hands-on, engaging tools and resources to help them learn! They come to my classroom every day ready to learn their new math concept. They are the reason I wake up and come to work every morning!

My Project

There have been a number of adjustments made to everyday life since our COVID-19 situation. Social distancing canceled many field trips and it seems as if there is no end to self-quarantine in sight. With the disruption imposed by this pandemic, we have been creative by using You Tube to go on field trips. Then my students can write a summary of their experience. The need for our students to experience new surroundings is crucial for their learning development. Acululs 2 takes advantage of technology to piece together live programming and virtual field trips. This can be a memorable experience for my students. I never struggle with my students when I ask them to write about a new experience. They love to share their thoughts when it is something they enjoy. Please help my students find joy in writing by giving them the Aculus field trip experience.
