Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are hard working learners. All of last week, we worked on math tasks that got them to think critically in collaborative groups. They were in groups of three working on a white board around the room. There is research that proves that students working standing up around the room increases their thinking which is one of the reasons why I need more dry erase expo markers. My students need these expo marker s to continue being persistent learners. The engagement in the classroom compared to when they were sitting in desks has increased dramatically.
