Imagine, Pretend, Dress Up!

Help me give my students a clean, organized dress-up center for pretend play materials.

My Project

Pretend play is a favorite activity in PreK. My young learners love the opportunity to dress up in costumes, admire themselves in the mirror, and act. Our class needs a clean, organized space to store the dress-up clothes and accessories, baby dolls and materials.

In PreK, playing is learning and that includes independently choosing materials and putting them away.

Dressing oneself is a large part of self-help skills my students are learning. Having a mirror and space to practice putting on play clothes is a huge bonus! Dressing up in pretend costumes provides an opportunity to be fun and silly while engaging in cooperative play. This piece of furniture will provide a clean, organized space to allow this type of activity to occur safely within the classroom space.
