Help me give my students paint sticks and art-making tools. Visual arts include multi-media drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, weaving, and printmaking.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reasons for Funding; The Arts help develop self-esteem.
CONSUMABLE SUPPLIES: These include different types of paint such as liquid watercolor, paint sticks, tempera cakes, and liquid tempera.
By having access to a diverse range of materials, our students experiment with various techniques and styles and develop their self-expression and problem-solving skills.
SCULPTURE: A tactile and three-dimensional creative experience. With the proper tools and materials, our students sculpt and mold their ideas into physical forms, fostering their spatial awareness and fine motor skills.
MULTI-MEDIA DRAWING SETS: Drawing is a fundamental skill in visual arts education. Students, K-5 explore different drawing techniques and experiment with various mediums, which develops their visual library.
COLLAGE: Materials such as paper, fabric, and found objects give access to a variety of collage materials, enabling our students to express their creativity and independence.
WEAVING: Promotes concentration, coordination, creativity, and self-esteem. Students learn the art of textile design, expanding their artistic horizons.
ART DISPLAYS: Showcasing student talents and boosting their confidence we can create a visually stimulating environment that celebrates our students' creativity and encourages them to continue exploring the world through art. Our annual Student Art Show is fun for the whole family.
