This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This laptop will allow my ELL students to use the Imagine Learning program, which helps them to learn English. This laptop will also help me to assess my kiddos and to analyze that data to help them to get to their full potential in reading and math skills. I will progress monitor them weekly to keep track of their progress. What makes my students special is how hard they work each and every day.
A lot of my kiddos come to school only speaking Spanish.
By the end of the school year they are fluent in English as well. This is a tremendous feat in itself, let alone to learn how to write, and read in English as well. This computer will help them gain these skills by utilizing Imagine Learning, which is a program that assists with English Language Learners.
