This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are curious, expressive, and eager to explore new ways of making art. They bring imagination and personality into the art room every day, especially when given opportunities to choose how they create. This project supports a classroom studio model with art stations dedicated to drawing, inking, coloring, watercolor, and design, allowing students to rotate, experiment, and expand their creative skills. Sakura Pigma Micron pens and Prismacolor pencils support precision, line quality, and layering, while Strathmore 300 Bristol Board provides a professional surface for finished work. Itoya Art Profolio portfolios help students store, organize, and reflect on their artwork. Brushes, drafting tools, sharpeners, storage bins, and clean-up supplies ensure each station is functional, organized, and ready for meaningful learning.
