This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are beyond excited to start a new English Language Arts program that is based on the science of reading called Expeditionary Learning. My first graders are going to learn all about birds!

We are going to dive deep into becoming experts about birds and learn about what birds need and how to take care of birds while reading and writing.

Please help enrich our new program with hands on materials like bird guides, bird seed, birds eggs, hands-on bird center, a class set of binoculars for birding and more!
