My Project

For several years, we've relied on students to bring their own headphones to use in class. With 30 students in our crew, we started the year with 30 different brands and styles! While we still try to limit screen time, there are several online programs that we utilize for small group and foundational skill building. All of these programs involve some element of sound that is necessary for learning.

Imagine the cacophony that we enjoy each afternoon with nearly 30 unmuted Chromebooks all playing their own sounds too loud.

What a treat! After receiving this donation of new (and quality) headphones, our students will be able to efficiently get their technology set-up. No more digging through our headphone cabinet to once again find broken headphones! This donation will result in more learning time in a more peaceful environment. It's a win for everyone - including the teachers and our ears!

Mr. Andy will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by August 31.
