This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first grade students have a creative soul and want to explore with hands on activities! They need an outlet to use this vivid imagination! Many are from low-income households or shelters and do not access to creative toys such as Legos. With that being said, many also come to school hungry and also go home hungry! No child should be hungry!

Legos and some snacks would set my students up for a great day and would be a nice treat for the end of the year after all of their hard work this year!
