My Project
In my art class I let them have free time, where they are able to let their imagination soar. Some love to color, some love to build things, while others like to draw or mold using play doh. Seeing them create such amazing things out of nothing and their faces shining because they are so proud of what they made and as they show me it puts pride into my heart.
Watching kids realize what they are capable of shows them that there truly is no limit to the imagination.
By having more resources, Lincoln logs, building kits and materials for them work with they can see that there are other ways to achieve a goal. Each item will be used daily for each class and student to explore the unknown creativity that is in their mind.
My students are not just my students. They are the future, and if there is a future artist, architect, or engineer in my class I want them to know there is a future in it. They are always eager to learn about an artist, technique or element.
