This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in High School and most of them have never created a 3-dimensional piece of artwork. They will learn about building armatures and once they have the basic armature and pose for their imaginary animal they will wrap it with plaster gauze to create the body and form.

We have been studying about textures and this project will help them to understand implied and real textures in their own artwork.

Once they created their animals they will paint them and mount them on a wooden base for display.
