My Project

Self-worth is the outcome of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love. Self-worth helps us to accept who we are, as we are. It is something that must be taught, and the only way to do that is by modeling.

Self-worth gives you emotional resilience; you will always be in control of your response to situations.

Within our school's House System, you will find our Community of Caring Values which are trust, caring, respect, responsibility, and family. Everywhere you walk in our school, we need our students to see themselves in ways that build their self-worth. The requested instant photo printer with cartridge and paper refills will allow their images to decorate every surface within our Castle on the Hill. The mirror adhesive sheets will be used within the hallways so that every student can look at themselves and see the power within them (theory of motivation).

Attending a STEM/STEAM school that incorporates performing arts, visual arts, coding, computer science (CS), financial literacy, and social-emotional learning (SEL) gives our students the chance to explore who they are. Our urban school receives federal funding for programs that provide free breakfast/lunch for every student, and Title I services to economically-disadvantaged boys and girls. Our inclusive class serves military families, gifted/talented students, ESL/ELL students, special education students, and tech-savvy students.
