My Project
My students are aged three, four and five. They are growing in many ways. I have noticed that their appetites are growing, too. Sometimes, the meals provided in our breakfast and lunch program aren't satisfying enough for them.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
The kids don't like the breakfasts that are served to them every day and if they don't eat it, they won't have the energy needed to focus on morning lessons. I want to stock our classroom with nutritious snacks to help them get through the day.
I sat down with the class today and said we were going to make a shopping list. I wrote down suggestions of what the children said they'd like to have for snacks. The items are reflected in the list I've made.
