This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love the way my students put so much effort into learning. They all come from different economic and cultural backgrounds, yet when we are in class we are one big family. They are so excited about being in school and learning.

My Project

These books will be used not only in my classroom for students to read during the day but I will also use them during my after-school program where I use these books to help my students read. They offer a lot of the beginning sight words my students are learning. Not only are they helping them read but my students get excited about being able to take that book and read it to their parents. The parents are very grateful to see how their child is reading and the progress they've made.
