This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an energetic diverse bunch who love to learn and create! We have a huge variety of talents as well as a wide range of reading levels (from K to 4th grade).
They attend a school in which 100% of the students receive a free or reduced-price lunch.
The majority of the students are English Language Learners. Several of the families live in challenging environments. Despite these circumstances, we are a community and do our best for our kids.
Our parents and teachers try our best to provide the best education for our students, but we need a few generous donors to help support us.
My Project
Many of my students are using computers with microphones that are either broken or that do nit work well. These headphones with microphones will help our students hear each other during our distance learning Zoom classes. They will also help cancel out background noise such as other siblings on their own zoom meetings or toddle/baby siblings crying.
I would like for my students not only be able to hear me while I’m teaching, but also to communicate and collaborate with eachother.
These headphones with built in nice will help us tremendously during this time.
