This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The children I teach are a delightful bunch. They bring joy to my day at school and are special in their own way. The boys and girls come to school and strive for excellence in their school and home activities. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Some of the students I teach have difficulty completing practice assignments and reading activities because they are dyslexic.

I want to make sure they have everything they need to be successful.

My Project

The boys and girls have some reading issues.

These children are dyslexic.

As you can imagine the reading difficulties they are experiencing.

Help me enrich our reading selection with these few books. The classic “Dick and Jane” series are just what the children need to increase reading of sight words.

The Tom and Ricky Mystery collection will help the boys and girls decode words. The Mystery collection is the perfect tool to help the children practice decoding words.

Sometimes they may be looked at as dumb, but that’s not true. They are just dyslexic. These reading books will help these children increase their reading fluency.

Your kind help will ensure they have various resources available.
