My Project

I teach in a semi-contained special education classroom with students of varying ages and ability levels. We work in small groups with a teacher-student ratio of 1:2 or 1:3. Sometimes learners will complete their work early while others in their group still require individualized attention. This leaves 4-5 minutes for a student to select a puzzle or a book if they finish early before the next academic rotation. This is my first year teaching in this type of setting and our puzzles & books are threadbare and have been well-loved.

We need new books and puzzles to keep students engaged & supported if they happen to finish early!

These interactive puzzles and books meet all of my learners' needs because in addition to academic goals, my students are also working on occupational therapy goals (hand-eye coordination, hand muscle strengthening, spatial/visual awareness, executive functioning skills, etc.) We would love your support in gaining these high-quality, interactive books and puzzles for our special education classroom!
