This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students are children with Autism, and this year, I currently only have Kindergarteners aged 5 and 6.
Many of my students are non-verbal, and all of them have limited communication skills.
They require various learning modalities and activities to understand their environment.
I am requesting a 10-drawer cart so that each child has their own drawer. I want all of my students to know what they can do when they finish their work. In the drawers, I will provide extra worksheets or activities to keep them engaged. The mesh bags will help keep all the necessary supplies organized, and the LCD boards will offer an additional activity for when they are done.
