This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a targeted cohort of "at promise" students who are facing challenges with conduct, academics, and attendance. This entire year, we have focused on goal setting, responsible decision-making, progress monitoring and making positive habits to become successful students and humans.
Many of my students have stepped up to the challenge, and I'd like to celebrate and reward them!
Some students need tangible results, other than their grades, and the items from this project will help me provide that for them.
As the semester is coming to an end, I'd like to offer students who pass ALL of their classes with a "C" or higher the opportunity to win a prize. ALL teenagers love to listen to music or watch videos and I think the earbuds will be THE best prizes for my students- they will be so excited. The alarm clock is not only stylish but also comes with a charger AND will help them continue to come to class on time (hopefully). Thank you for your consideration).
