My Project

Young children love getting rewarded for doing well at any task. In our preschool classroom, we have a treasure box. Inside are a variety of small toys and treasures the students can get when they are doing well with behavior, helping a friend and for academic success! We would love to add mini bubble wands, spinning tops, pop beads, small cars and more to our treasure box as motivation to do well in school and for praise for being a good classroom citizen. We teach social emotional learning daily and throughout the school day. We learn how to be respectful, kind and smart!

Praise and acknowledging a child for doing well at something nurtures their confidence and sense of self.

By using praise, you're showing a child how to think positively about themselves. Having a treasure box and letting students know they are doing a good job helps them learn how to recognize when they do well and feel proud of themselves. Help us add more treasure box items and motivate our students to continue being treasures while at school!
