My students love to learn, read and share what they are learning. They are always anxious to come to school, love to be in our classroom and many drag their feet to leave because they don't want the day to end. Our classroom is the place where we are safe, have fun learning together and build a community that will last forever, even after fourth grade is over.
Energetic, a love for learning and kind, my students are always ready and eager to learn together and have great classroom discussions.
They love to make connections to the world around them and build on what they already know. Each day, every one of my kiddos learns something new that they can't wait to share with another teacher, a friend or me!
My Project
My students are creating books to be published. They have worked so hard authoring their stories and now need to add illustrations. The final copy of their books require use of markers, which we have run dry 85% of our markers.
These markers and colored pencils will help my students bring their stories and art to life.
It is so important to incorporate the arts into a variety of subjects throughout the day. My students love being able to illustrate their writing, color their fraction bars, and create a variety of art projects; but it is hard when your markers have run dry due to how much we use them.
