This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, I am continually inspired by the boundless creativity and enthusiasm of my students. They possess an innate curiosity and a drive to express themselves through various mediums, particularly in stop-motion and green-screen projects. Witnessing their passion for storytelling and visual arts fuels my desire to provide them with the best tools to nurture their talents.

The request for four new mobile, magnetic, rechargeable lights is not merely about acquiring equipment; it's about empowering my students to elevate their projects to new heights.

These lights will serve as versatile tools, allowing students to manipulate lighting conditions to enhance the mood and atmosphere of their scenes. With the ability to position the lights anywhere in the classroom, students will have the freedom to experiment with different lighting techniques, fostering a deeper understanding of cinematography principles.

My goal for this project is to create an environment where students feel supported and inspired to explore their creativity without limitations. By providing them with access to high-quality lighting equipment, I aim to cultivate their technical skills and encourage them to push the boundaries of their imagination.

What truly sets my students apart is their willingness to embrace challenges and collaborate with their peers. They thrive in an environment that encourages experimentation and celebrates diversity of ideas. With each project, they demonstrate resilience, problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for learning.

The acquisition of these lights is not just about illuminating physical spaces; it's about illuminating minds and sparking a lifelong love for creative expression. With the right resources at their disposal, I am confident that my students will continue to inspire and amaze me with their ingenuity and artistic vision.
