My school is Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade.
I teach a diverse low social economic class of five year old children.
My Kindergarten students are curious, adventurous and creative. They enjoy learning through hands on activities and experiential learning centers.
All of the students in my school receive free breakfast and lunch and each Friday they receive a bag of healthy food and snacks to ensure they have something to eat over the weekend.
The majority of my families get Federal Assistance.
My Project
A light table creates an inviting learning space and children are learning without even realizing it, which creates an enthusiasm for learning. The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will improve literacy, math, music, writing, and science. Children will be able to explore crystal building blocks, ABC tracing tiles, illuminated bugs, colored chips, numbers, dominoes, and gems.
