This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students with low eyesight require specific, modified materials to develop their alphabetic knowledge. A excellent approach to provide some kids with vision problems the backlighting they require is with lightboxes. To maximize their remaining vision, these kids must be able to adjust the amount of light.
My low vision students can use this lightbox and the material to further their English Language Art and Math development.
They can practice letter recognition and letter formation, then progress to word recognition. Students with special needs require adapted material and extra support in order to master these skills.
The Translucent Letter Builders, numbers, shapes will allow my students to be able to practice letter identification and matching along with handwriting during daily table activities. They will be able to work on reading and writing numbers in addition to sequencing numbers.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
