This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach math and science to a group of eager to learn fourth through sixth graders. They each have unique learning disabilities; however, the one thing they all have in common is their passion and love for science. They look forward to Ms. Hall’s Lab every Friday. This is our designated day to incorporate some type of experiment or hands on activity that corresponds with the weekly lesson. They are intrigued by science and all it’s possibilities and I love their desire to learn more.
My Project
Microscopes and dissecting kits will allow me to incorporate hands stem activities for my students. I teach elementary science to a group of children who are engaged and absolutely love to be hands on. This equipment will enable me to create a lab environment for my students to investigate and discover all the wonderful possibilities science has to offer. We will learn all about bacteria and other livings from a microscopic point of view. They love science and love forward to participating in weekly lab activities. I call them scientists and every great scientist must have their own lab and equipment to explore.
