This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students make my classroom special. They are all uniquely different. So many different personalities and different backgrounds but we come together and become one great special family. We learn from each other and we make learning exciting and fun. We always strive to keep learning engaging but fun at the same time.

Math is my passion and I strive for every student to think that they love it as well as I do and they will be great at it.

My Project

Our project funded for “Flex Seating” and now we are very excited to have Flex Independent Spaces but we would love to also have carpet down so we will not have to sit on the floor. Students will be super excited to see this seating set up and this small carpet is just the icing on the cake for this project. I can visualize this beautiful space that my students with be eager to sit at and do their centers or just have independent time for themselves. I can picture it being a quiet space when students need quiet time or a space where they are working hard in a group to excel at the standard that they are currently working on.
