I need an iPad to use for my weekly professional development meetings, to aid me in taking my career to the next level, and to help me collect student data.
This iPad will be a powerful tool that will enhance not only my craft as a teacher but my students' experience as well. I will be able to take virtual courses. These courses will allow me to grow professionally in my knowledge of literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. It will also allow me to collaborate with my colleagues on a regular basis.
I will use the Apple iPad Pro as a tool to prepare myself with the technological demands of teaching and prepare me for the 21st century.
I will create PowerPoint slide shows and graphic organizers of content-based learning to improve my craft as a teacher and support the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards of technology. I will also be able to acquire new teaching strategies through the online professional development courses. I need to have access to Enchanted Learning, the education center, FamilyEducation, and Scholastic. The donation of an Apple iPad will prepare me for the technology demands of the 21st century and professional growth. I will be able to incorporate content-based lessons to support technology and provide visual media to my students.
