This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Technology is so important in this day and age, and I want my kindergartners to incorporate it in their learning.

The majority of my students are English language learners and have limited resources at home.

Our school is not located in a "nice" area and many of our students have to deal with difficult situations in their lives, but they still deserve a great education. I work hard to give them an inviting place to learn, a chance to experience new and memorable things, and an opportunity for a better life.

My Project

My students will use the iPads as a learning tool to practice skills taught in class. The iPads are part of the technology center that students can visit during our literacy or math group rotations. They work on various activities in different math, reading, and writing apps. It's a great way for students to practice their skills and to incorporate technology into the classroom.

We currently have 2 iPads in our classroom that the students share.

They love using them and I love that they are learning and developing important skills. My goal is to have an iPad for everyone. The iPads encourage students to learn and keep them involved while I work with small groups.
