My Project
I love that my students are full of potential, curiosity, and determination. Despite facing challenges outside of school, they show up ready to learn and give their best. I teach at a Title I school where most of my students come from minority backgrounds, and many don’t have access to the same tools and resources at home that other students might. What makes them special is their perseverance and eagerness to grow, even when the odds are stacked against them.
The MacBook and iPad in this project will help create more interactive, engaging, and personalized lessons.
With the MacBook, I can design digital activities, record lessons, and manage student data more efficiently. The iPad will allow students to access apps that support reading, math, and writing, especially those with learning differences. Both tools will also help me provide immediate feedback and incorporate more visuals, audio, and hands-on activities to meet different learning styles.
My goal is to make learning more accessible and exciting for my students. These resources will help close the opportunity gap and give them the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. With your support, I can bring more creativity and innovation to my teaching and give my students the learning experience they truly deserve.
