This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am part of a school that have wonderful students. We are located in a rural area in Georgia. Being part of a small community allows us to be more like family. We strive to help one another. Our students have a high free/reduced lunch percentage, which makes us a high needs school. Overall, they are a group of students that love to learn and I want to make it enjoyable.
I am a teacher that loves to offer my students a positive classroom and learning experience.
My Project
Having Kindle Fires in my classroom will be a learning component for my students. Preparing students to be 21st century leaders is something that I strive for each day. Integrating Kindle Fire tablets into my lessons will increase student retention through the use of technology.
When students are active and engaged, learning is blossoming.
I love being in a classroom where students are not required to be part of teacher-led instruction each day. The Kindle Fire will allow students to be active learners, collaborate with peers, and develop technology skills. I will use these tablets each day for activities that will further increase their passion to learn. By donating to this project, you are ensuring student success.
