My Students

My students face challenges in the classroom, but with determination and excitement, they're able to conquer.

My 25 students are very culturally diverse and economically challenged, but upon entering the classroom they unite as an amazing group of young learners.

Many of them are second language learners but this does not stop their motivation to learn. Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. They are fearless when it comes to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). As children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to successfully engage in our society.

My Project

This project will give my students a chance to solve problems creatively and collaboratively, think outside the box, and take part in experiential learning.

Your donation will go towards creating the next generation of innovative scientists, tech geniuses, engineers, artists, and mathematicians.

The materials included in my project are everything we need to get started. In the eyes of a 5 year old, these basic materials can become the tallest skyscraper, the fastest car, or a bridge to cross a raging river. Constructive play is such an imperative part of learning. With these basic STEAM activities, my student will always have access to hands-on learning for when they finish an assignment early.
