Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need two sets of engaging classroom novels to deepen their reading comprehension and foster a love of literature. Additionally, highlighters will be used as a tool to actively engage with other texts - identifying key information and patterns that will not only improve reading comprehension but also provide valuable models and insights for their own writing organization, and peer and individual feedback. Finally, composition notebooks will serve as interactive notebooks, providing a space for vocabulary development, word study, mentor sentence analysis, and journal writing - creating a dynamic and personalized learning experience.
