Igniting Innovation: Robotics, Engineering & Science for 4th Graders

My Project

As a 4th-grade science teacher, I am passionate about providing my students with hands-on STEM experiences that ignite curiosity and develop critical thinking.

With your support, my students will have the chance to explore the exciting world of robotics, electrical engineering, and science in a way that will inspire and empower them!

Currently, my students have limited access to STEM materials, but they are eager to learn. This project will provide robotics STEM kits, Doodle Bots, an electrical engineering kit, and 4th-grade science posters to engage 70 young learners in designing, problem-solving, and experimenting with real-world engineering and science concepts. The kits will allow them to explore circuits, motors, and design while working together to create their own robotic innovations. The science posters will visually reinforce key concepts, bringing our classroom to life and making science even more accessible and engaging.

Why This Matters:

Many of my students do not have access to STEM materials outside of school, and these resources will give them the opportunity to develop engineering and coding skills in a fun and hands-on way. By building robots and experimenting with electrical circuits, they will develop confidence, teamwork, and perseverance—skills that will set them up for future success in STEM fields.
